We had some friends come all the way from down South to spend a week at this wonderful place, and area. This beautiful farmhouse is way off the beaten road and is so peaceful with lots of wildlife around including the beautiful Barn Owl ๐ฆ ๐. We were kindly given permission to take our campervan down the long, and narrow track. That is layed with stone ๐. And spend a beautiful evening, and morning with our friends. We had a very enjoyable BBQ and a few drinks to say the least ๐ ๐คฃ. But that is wy we asked permission to take the campervan so we could stay in it for the night. So thanks again to the owner/ owners ๐๐๐. We were parked right next to a big old tree, and the Owl was tweeting away during the night. And it was fantastic. We saw Buzzards, Lapwings, Ducks and plenty of Rabbits. But the surrounding area is just breathtaking. You have got High Force one way, and Low Force the other way. And you just walk down a field and you are literally on the river Tees ๐๐ฎ๐. What more can you ask for. And the decor in the farmhouse is lovely. What a place to escape the grind of this modern world Mmmmmm ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅฐ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ
Lovely lovely. Enjoyable meal. Great hostess. Will go again soon.
The bunkbarn is great value for money, in a great location right on the Pennine Way. The beds are comfy, there is a gas fire, gas cooker, hot shower and the owners are very friendly and helpful. What more could you want?!
